« Camp Zagora » is situated 12 kms from the downtown of Zagora. If you are coming from Ouarzazate, upon crossing the bridge of Draa valley,You will encounter a cross point in the foot of the mountain “Tazagort” that overlooks that town, you will then need to go left on the main road. But as the camp is located in the wild, you will have to drive off-road for around 8 Km until you eventually arrive in the camp.

A 4WD would be recommended for such a trip, in order to avoid sharp rocks and obstacles caused by sands.

By our arranged tour

Most of our guests spend the night in our camp as a part of their 2 days trip to Zagora desert. You will get onboard a 4WD (4x4) from Marrakech to Zagora. Once you arrive, you will mount guided camels (one camel each) that will transport you through an adventure across the desert for 8 kms till you get to the camp.  Next day, the camels will get you back to the same point as departure, and then the 4x4 driver will be waiting for you to return to Marrakech.

You can reach Zagora by Car from Marrakech by passing through Ouarzazate. Average distance between Ouarzazate and Marrakech is 164 kms. If you are coming from Fes, then you will need to drive south to Errachidia, and from there to Alnif via Tinejdad. Then you will end up in the crossing point “Tansikht” where you will take left for about 70 kms to Zagora.

• By Plane :

Zagora airport is linked with Casablanca International Airport with minimum 3 flights a week. The Moroccan airlines “Royal Air Maroc” operate these flights in economy carriers. For booking and consultation, you can visit the Royal Air Maroc website: http://www.royalairmaroc.com/int-en

• By public Bus:

You can travel to Zagora by bus on a daily basis. We encourage traveling with Supratours or CTM for high comfort and safety. If your accommodation is booked with our camp, then please provide us about details of your road trip so we can meet you in the right time and place.
