Day 1 : Zagora – Draa Valley – Tamegroute – Erg Chegaga
Your luxury desert camping experience begins here! If you're looking to spend your night in our camp and look for an adventure in the deep desert of Morocco, our team member could guide you to experience the beauty of the Draa and the region of Mhamid. You will begin your trip in Draa Valley, where millions of palm trees grow and provide the locals with shade, food and shelter. Next stop will be in Tamgeroute, where once upon a time had been the spiritual hub and schooling center. Now the village serves pottery art due to its own trademark in the manufacturing of pottery-made tools, items for decoration and other useful things. Continue your trip to the remote desert of Erg Chegaga located amid vast Hamada lands and savannah trees. Overnight in a camp amidst sand dunes.
Day 2 : Erg Chegaga - Zagora
Your luxury desert camping experience ends here! After observing the beautiful sunrise and finished your breakfast, you will head back to Zagora. The tour guide will lead you to other splendid spectacles of the desert such as Lake of Erikki that supply the region’s Nomads with water resources for their camels and goats. Then you will discover the village of Foum Zguit as an ancient community grouping of Berbers and Sahraouis. Beside the village, there is an archeological and geological site where fossils are extracted. The site is famous for its engravings on rocks that shows proof of human existence from thousands of years ago. After lunch, you will drive back to Zagora.
